Vintage 1970's Popy kingZaurus Kaiju Figures

In the mid 1970's Popy toys produced a series of 6"- 7" tall Kaiju figures - Based on the earlier Ultraman - Ultra Q - Ultra Seven and Ultra Taro - TV shows. These are know in japan as the King Zaurus Series as well as Foot Print Monsters - there are more than 30 Different monster and Ultraman Character figures as well as a series of Godzilla monsters done in this same scale . In 1976 Mattel Toys purchased the rights to a handful of these toys and release "Godzilla's Gang" these are painted differently than the originals (and are marked made in Taiwan) and are much easier to find. Here are some of the one we have in our collection. As well as a catalog sheet.  I have also Included additional images of some of the Japanese only "footprint"Godzilla Monsters  - by the way the Japanese term "Kaiju" means "strange Beast" and is used for most any japanese monster toy or figure - I have also included some harder to find Japanese figures below -

THESE ITEMS ARE NOT FOR SALE - BUT WE ARE CURRENTLY BUYING ONES WE DON'T HAVE

this is a 6 panel fold out and was included in Bagged header carded figures - interestingly enough there as some toy photos and some real monster photo's (which leads me to think that not all toys were ready when catalog was first produced)
1980's Yamaktsu Premium figures
1980's Yamaktsu Premium figures
Yamakatsu is best known for it's Sports and Non-sports Trading Cards and did a very nice "star wars" card set - But in the ealy 1980's they also acquired the rights to the "Godzilla" toy brand from Toho and produced a nice line of Kaiju figure - these Godzilla and King Ghidorah are possible the Hardest of the series to find being 4" tall each is solid rubber - interestingly the Godzilla is painted green over grey rubber - these were mail-away premiums from the Godzilla card set -
